Ah, there you are.Mr. Wise Owl is searching through dusty boxes looking for old photograph albums of our founder Julie, he says “hang on to your feathers, I will be back in a jiffy” …
So far he has found, a very blurry photograph of Julie at Lourdes in freezing temperatures just before Christmas. She said it was a very sacred experience, but the coldest she’s ever been in her life.He said to “tell you in a nutshell”,Our Founder is;Rowanthwaite Founder

And he has found a crumpled photograph of Miss Maple, Rowanthwaite’s youngest mascot, it had chew marks on it, so he has made a copy.
That’s as far as he’s got, so he says he is putting things together as quickly as he can, as we are opening for our mid-winter Advent Extravaganza and he wants his owls in a row by then.He tells me “he has quite a few tidbits, and stories about our Founder… so, if you’d be so kind as to pop your name in the box below, he’ll let you know the moment he’s finished… and has come down from the rafters.”🦉
Rowanthwaite is built from stories and lantern-light,
but it is also built by Julie.
She keeps the fire warm,
the paths tended,
and the wonder alive. 💕

tending the fire and making tea strong enough to wake angels
• in the Soul BookShop,
dusting shelves, rearranging lanterns, and pretending not to notice Mr Wise Owl judging her
• by the Wishing Well,
listening to the water and thinking her quiet thoughts
• wandering the Spiral Path,
letting inspiration nudge her from branch to branch
• or standing beneath the Sacred Rowan, or in the Chapel,
heart still, eyes bright, breathing in the hush of the land and the holy Presence.If she is nowhere to be seen,
check for Maple or Blossom.
